How to Connect Your New Domain to Your Web Host

We’ve been getting lots of questions about how to connect a new domain name to a hosting account, so we figured we would do a quick video showing how to do it.

The demo uses GoDaddy and HostGator. These are what we use, and what we recommend.

In addition to the video, you can click here to download a pdf file that shows you screenshots (using a different domain name than the video used) and instructions, as well as a one-page text only ‘step-by-step’ guide. Sometimes you just don’t want to watch the video again to double-check that one tiny piece of information!
