Using a Wordpress Plugin to Add a Stretchy Audio Player

by Deb

Let’s look now at how to add that cool stretchy player using a Wordpress plugin and your own web hosting.

Here is an example of how this player looks and works.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Like it? Do you want to use it yourself?

OK, here is an 11 minute video showing how I did this, start to finish. It’d take less time if I just DID it and didn’t talk about what I was doing, so it will take you a lot less time to create your own audio players using this plugin.

While our preferred method of adding this audio player is faster and easier, this method offers more options for customizing your player.

Enjoy!

We do have a little bit of a love-affair with Wordpress, I have to admit. It’s fun to share new plugins and stuff we find and use with our Wordpress sites. Hope you enjoy the plugin!
